Cidercone was founded in 2000 by its current CEO Tuomas Kohila. The company started out as a vendor of customised mobile and internet solutions to businesses on a project basis.

Since 2002, Cidercone has provided information management systems for animal laboratories. These solutions have achieved international success across Europe and are used now in several well-known institutions.

Our SmartLab solution enables customers to increase the efficiency of their day-to-day business processes and thus lower their operational costs. It includes licensed software as well as services that cover activities ranging from business analysis and customisation to implementation and outsourced support for both applications and IT infrastructure.

Starting 2008 Cidercone has offered SmartLab laboratory animal management system to the North American market in co-operation with Edstrom Industries, Inc. Edstrom will exclusively promote, support, and distribute the SmartLab animal management system in North America.
