Tuomas Kohila M.Sc, founder, CEO

Tuomas is the head of Cidercone as well as the company’s largest shareholder. Before founding Cidercone, Tuomas worked for Nokia in Wireless Data marketing, participating in some of the world’s first Value Added Services projects, and managing Nokia’s relationships and case analysis. He was a member of the founding team of the Nokia Artuse Developer Programme, now part of the Forum Nokia worldwide developers’ programme. Before joining Nokia, Tuomas attended Colorado State University, where he studied international business and financing. Prior to that, he worked for Ericsson marketing in Finland and ABB.

 

Oliver Boldt, President

As President Oliver Boldt is responsible of running and growing Cidercone business. Oliver has strong marketing and product business management background. Oliver has worked with several new application businesses leading them successfully through the initial stages of growth. Previously he worked for 10 years at Nokia Networks and, before becoming VP, as Marketing Director at Cidercone. Oliver is originally from Germany and has been living for almost 15 years in Finland. ”I am proud of our team, our product and especially what we have achieved for our customers. I am excited about the opportunity to become the leading provider of information management systems for medical research laboratories.”

 

Markku Sani, Director, Accounts

Account Director Markku Sani is responsible for the Cidercone's customers and new sales to UK, Scandinavia, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxemburg and East European countries.
"Cidercone delivers to it's customer information management system solution that is based on a product. Utilisation of Cidercone professional services enables full compatibility of customers requirements. We have a proven track record of successful project deliveries. The Key success factor of solution deliveries is tight cooperation with the customers. This means that we listen to the customers carefully and communicate constantly in order to ensure them the mutual understanding of the situation." The past 3 years in Cidercone Markku has been working with Operations being responsible for customer deliveries, services, R&D and quality assurance. Markku started his professional career in healthcare area. Before joining Cidercone Markku gained experience of clinical information management systems as he worked almost 10 years in different product and R&D management positions at Instrumentarium and GE Healthcare.

 

Frank Ereth, Sales Manager

Frank Ereth joined Cidercone in the beginning of 2009 as a Sales Manager and is currently responsible for new accounts in Germany and France, but also for some selected existing customers. “Cidercone provides future-proof, state-of-the art solutions that focus on high usability and smart configuration. We are always working very close with our customers and I am immensely looking forward to building-up successful business partnerships with them.” Frank can count, prior to joining Cidercone, on an international career of more than 16 years in the IT and telecommunications sector, mostly within business development and sales/marketing/general management roles. He has been based in Germany, Finland, UK and France, equally working for large players (Alcatel, Nokia) but also for start-up and smaller companies.

 

 

Jukka Maaranen, Manager, Product Management and Solution Consulting

As the manager in product management and solution consulting Jukka Maaranen is responsible for running the product development activities in very close interaction with our customers.

Since joining Cidercone in October 2005, Jukka has rapidly gained a profound understanding of the preclinical research segment and the challenges different organisations face with managing and running their facilities. At Cidercone, Jukka has worked as a system architect, business analyst and solution consultant. Before joining Cidercone, Jukka worked as a technical expert in major companies such as Nokia and Sonera. “I am always striving to understand the unique needs of our customer. I am looking for defining the best solution for them and creating the best product roadmap for our market.”
